Head of Client Delivery Position
Hey, I'm Cristian, founder of Ken AI. We're a cold email startup doing ~$1M ARR with a team of 7. I'm looking for someone to own our entire client delivery operation - campaigns, client relationships, results.
This isn't a project management role. You'll own everything that happens after a client signs: their campaigns, their results, their happiness, their retention. If something breaks, you fix it. If a client is unhappy, that's on you. If we're crushing it, you get paid.
What is Ken AI?
We're not another "Claygency" stitching together Clay + Instantly + Apollo. We're an AI startup with an agency business model.
We build our own software - our own email infrastructure, our own AI personalization system, our own deliverability stack. Half of our team are developers. This gives us a moat that agencies using off-the-shelf tools don't have.
The agency side lets us stay close to clients, learn what actually works, and build better technology.

Total Comp
Estimated $120-180k+/year depending on client count and retention. Part base and part performance.
The longer you keep clients, the more you make. Equity available for exceptional candidates.
This is a remote position with flexible hours (except client meetings in US timezones). I travel a lot - San Francisco, London, Singapore, Bali, etc. Team members who want to join are welcome. If you like the idea of working together in person occasionally across different cities, that's a bonus.
What you'll actually do

Own client relationships
  • Be the main point of contact for 20-30 clients
  • Run check-ins, handle requests, manage expectations
  • Prevent churn before it happens

Own campaign performance
  • Diagnose underperforming campaigns and fix them
  • Troubleshoot deliverability issues, list targeting problems, copy that isn't converting
  • QA campaigns before they launch

Own processes and systems
  • Build documentation for everything
  • Create playbooks so problems get solved once, not repeatedly
  • Track SLAs and client health metrics

Work with the entire team
  • Coordinate with dev team on technical issues
  • Work with outreach team on campaign execution
  • Report directly to me on client health and delivery metrics
You'll need to write cold email copy, understand deliverability at a technical level, and be comfortable using AI tools daily. If you can't personally do the work, you can't manage the work.
Who we're looking for

You've done this before.
You've run delivery or operations at a cold email agency, lead gen agency, or similar. Not "ready to step up" - you've already managed clients and teams.

You know cold email.
You can write copy that converts. You understand deliverability, warmup, inbox placement. You've built prospect lists. This isn't learnable on the job at this level.

You're AI native.
You use AI tools daily for real work, not just "familiar with ChatGPT." You've built things with AI - automations, workflows, content, code. It's part of how you operate.

You're technical enough.
Not a developer, but you can troubleshoot issues, read API docs, understand data flows. You don't escalate every problem to engineering.

You take ownership.
When something breaks, you fix it. When something's unclear, you figure it out. You don't wait for permission or instructions.

You communicate directly.
No fluff. You say what you mean. Our clients are founders and executives - they appreciate honesty over polish.

  • Corporate communicators - nothing wrong with that style, it's just not how we operate here
If you need predictable paychecks and clear boundaries, this isn't the role. The base is as much as I can afford. The upside is real. You get paid based on results.
Who am I?
I'm Cristian, 20 years old, from Moldova. This is my 3rd startup. I started the biggest eLearning platform in Romania & Moldova at 14 (Smart Curs, 50,000+ students), then built a marketing agency for course creators (Ken Group), and now Ken AI.
Who is our team?
We're 7 people right now. Small, fast, no bureaucracy. Half developers building our tech, half on delivery and growth. You'll work directly with everyone - our dev team, outreach team, and me.

Who are our clients?
B2B SaaS founders and executives, mostly $1M-$10M in revenue. Some have sold companies for $100M+. Some are building exciting AI startups. All of them expect results and appreciate directness.
They're paying for outcomes, not activity. Your job is to deliver those outcomes.
